IT'S A GREAT DAY AT THE TECHNOLOGY CENTER!

Our theme for the school year is “Building Our Dream Team With a Red Carpet Blue Ribbon Spirit.” At The Technology Center, we are off to a great start. We welcome two staff members to The Technology Center: Ms. Chicora Johnson and Mrs. Kameka Johnson. We have had a very good school opening and are preparing for another good year. We will continue to promote our goals to provide a quality education for a diverse group of students that incorporates challenging academic and technical experiences with work skills that are required for success in a global society.

Last year was a banner year. We won our 5th Palmetto Gold Award and we were selected as a showcase school by the State Department of Education. There were 193 completers, 14 students received NCCER Certification and 8 students are licensed cosmetologist. Each of our student organizations (DECA, FCCLA, FBLA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA) had students to qualify to represent us at the National level.

We invite parents, the community, business partners and everyone to come see us prepare students for the future.

The Technology Center has been highlighted by WLTX-TV 19 in reference to the center's Biology Medical Engineering class.
